Hi, I’m Nicki. I work to create spaces people want to spend time in and discover. I am a Design Architect and a Registered Architect in New York.

My education began with playful representation of thoughtful research, developing rhetorical projects. I studied Architecture at the University of Miami SOA where I developed an understanding for site specific design through sustainable practices. My education continued to earning a Masters in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University GSAPP.

I began my career as an intern at Snarkitecture, exploring all scales of space and objects. I continued to practice design with attention to light and shadow, and materiality, as I developed my skills in a more technical environment at NYDA. Combining these skills offered me the opportunity to an Architectural Designer position at Theory, designing stores worldwide, where I continued to grow my knowledge of people’s interaction with the built environment. After a year of practicing residential design at the sustainable, client-oriented firm Barlis Wedlick Architects, I took a leap. dang was created.

dang is a collaboration with you, and my previous experience to realize your vision through design problem-solving. The goal is for someone to enter a space and think, dang.

I combine my collaborative experience and education to my practice - intersecting architecture and interaction with daily life and most importantly the client. Leading to good times in memorable spaces.

Here, my work is indexed and my ideas are illustrated.
